The Carolina Hurricanes have officially entered must-win territory, as the Canes head into game five with the Boston Bruins Wednesday evening down 3-1 in their first-round series.
After splitting the opening two games of the series, Boston has won back-to-back meetings, including coming from behind Monday night with a four-goal third period to grab a two-game advantage.
The Canes will again be missing Andrei Svechnikov and Joel Edmundson Wednesday, but should have Jordan Staal, who missed a big chunk of game four after taking a heavy hit from Charlie McAvoy, on the ice.
