Needless to say, it’s been a very eventful offseason for the Carolina Hurricanes. Over the course of the last few months, the team has seen some beloved players depart (Greg McKegg is a LEGEND), but the team has done a marvelous job replacing the guys who’ve left. Adding talents like Jake Gardiner, Ryan Dzingel and Erik Haula to a roster that reached the Eastern Conference Final seems like a good thing, right?
Right. With the departures of Micheal Ferland, McKegg, and (maybe just for the time being?) Justin Williams up front, those slots will be filled with Haula, Dzingel, and young stud Martin Necas.
