The Carolina Hurricanes started the month of December with a tough game in Boston. A game that was a back-and-forth battle for essentially the entire game, the Hurricanes failed to answer the Bruins’ late push and lost the game 2-0. James Reimer was excellent for the third straight game, but the offense just didn’t have the push that was needed to solve Jaroslav Halak.
After an abysmal start to the season, the San Jose Sharks have gotten themselves back on track. Despite dropping their last game 5-2 at the hands of the Washington Capitals, the Sharks have looked a lot better, going 11-2-0 in their last 13 games.
