Carolina Hurricanes: Three Keys to Victory Against the Minnesota Wild

The Minnesota Wild are not having a great season. 30th in the league, the Wild are currently sporting a record of 7-11-1, a stark difference from the Carolina Hurricanes’ record of 11-7-1.

This, however, does not mean the Carolina Hurricanes should take the Minnesota Wild lightly by any means. In today’s league, any team has the capability to be dangerous on any given night. The Wild still have offensive threats in the form of (yet again) former Carolina Hurricane Eric Staal, as well as Jason Zucker.

The Minnesota Wild have struggled just about everywhere else; dismal defense, and wildly inconsistent goaltending from both Alex Stalock and Devan Dubnyk early on this season have contributed to the Wild’s poor performance this season.
