Carolina Hurricanes: Sebastian Aho close to surpassing goal total from rookie year

Possibly the best player for the Carolina Hurricanes this season is just in his second full season in the NHL. Rising star left winger Sebastian Aho notched his 24th goal of the season in a March 8 road win for the Canes over the Chicago Blackhawks. That marker for Aho was also his team leading fourth game-winning goal of the season.

The only player for the Canes that has more points than Aho is his line mate, and right winger, Teuvo Teravainen. However, Teravainen is just one point ahead of Aho. With 24 goals and 52 points on the season, Aho has already way surpassed his point total from his rookie campaign.
