With the last two points possible, before the 2018 NHL All-Star Break, on the line for the Carolina Hurricanes, they should come out with their best effort. Head coach Bill Peters needs a victory for his squad to keep things tight in the Eastern Conference. On Jan. 25, the Canes take on the Montreal Canadiens with a chance to do just that, and stay alive in the Metropolitan Division.
The end of the regular season is rapidly approaching, and the Canes cannot slip too far out of contention or it will be another year in Raleigh without playoff hockey.
