The time we’ve all been waiting for is finally upon us folks. The 2019-2020 NHL season is in full swing. There are many story lines already taking form all around the world of the NHL. Ranging from San Jose being, well, not great to the “cult” of hockey fans on Twitter photo-shopping players faces onto seagulls. But that’s not why we’re here. For the second time since their debut in Hartford back in 1979, the Carolina Hurricanes franchise are 4-0.
You read that right. As of the writing of this article, the Carolina Hurricanes are 4-0 AND they are in first place overall in the league as well.
