Carolina Hurricanes: Marcus Kruger gets very lucky first goal of the season

A first period tally from Marcus Kruger, for the Carolina Hurricanes, was a much needed break for his team. The Canes have not been able to salvage much from their six-game road trip so far. Kruger’s early tally gave them a 1-0 lead entering the first intermission.

That goal from Kruger came off an attempted pass to clear the zone from Brayden McNabb of the Vegas Golden Knights. McNabb’s clear bounced off of Kruger’s stick, off goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, and into the goal. Considering Vegas is looking to extend their win streak to five games, this break does not help the cause.
