Carolina Hurricanes: Key November slate starts with Colorado Avalanche

November starts with a meeting with the Colorado Avalanche on Nov. 2 for the Carolina Hurricanes. The last game for the Canes resulted in a 4-3 shootout loss against the Anaheim Ducks on Oct. 29 at home at PNC Arena.

Carolina carried a 4-4-2 record out of the first month of the 2017-18 NHL season. That was good for putting the Canes in the bottom three of the Metropolitan Division. Yet, Carolina has not played as many games as most teams in the league.

The first two games in November for the Canes come against Western Conference foes on the road.
