Carolina Hurricanes: Justin Faulk makes franchise history

Hardly a game goes by that someone on social media is not complaining about or blaming Justin Faulk for something that they would let slide if another player was to do it. But whether you like him, love him or hate him, Justin Faulk is now the all-time leading scorer among defenseman for the Carolina Hurricanes.

Faulk reached the milestone on Friday night against the Vegas Golden Knights, passing former Hartford Whalers blueliner Dave Babych for first on the list by virtue of a first period assist on Nino Niederritter‘s goal. Faulk’s 241 points place him in front of some notable names in franchise history; names such as Glen Wesley and Ulf Samuelsson, plus Babych, are now behind Faulk in the record books.
