It was a huge performance from two of the captains for the Carolina Hurricanes, in a four-goal home victory over the Los Angeles Kings. Assistant captain Jeff Skinner racked up two goals in the win, while co-captain Justin Faulk had a few of his own to help his overall stat line this season.
With the Canes having a few players with breakout seasons during the 2017-18 campaign, it’s easy to forget what Skinner is doing at certain times. Known in his career for being a streaky scorer, Skinner’s production is really hard to figure out and predict this season.
