Sometimes I enjoy being wrong. This is one of those times. Two days ago I wrote an article stating that the challenge that Carolina Hurricanes All Star Jaccob Slavin would have the best opportunity to win would the Hardest Shot Event. Only a few hours later the event rosters came out and Slavin was chosen for the Accuracy Shooting Skill, something I mentioned that wasn’t his strength.
I was wrong. So wrong. And I couldn’t have been happier about it.
Instead Jaccob Slavin goes out on the ice for the event, which involved five targets inside the net, four in each corner and one in the center, and completes it in record time with only eight shots taken at epic speed.
