After leading 4-1 at one point against the Washington Capitals, the Carolina Hurricanes have managed to let a very winnable game go completely by the wayside. Now with the fanbase’s confidence in rookie head coach Rod Brind’Amour at an all-time low after the shootout debacle, they host the Arizona Coyotes. This game can make or break this team and HCRB. I cannot say this enough. After the snaffu regarding the shooters in the game against the Capitals, Rod Brind’Amour needs to come back with a solid win.
That solid win has to start with better lines. Jordan Martinook needs to come off the first line and be replaced by Andrei Svechnikov, who has been unstoppable when matched with the Finns.
