That last game was not fun to watch, by any means. It seemed rather prevalent that the Carolina Hurricanes made certain trade deadline moves to make a push to win it all this year. So why did the Canes come out so flat?
We will call Dallas a wash and blame it on first game jitters. There were several break downs defensively, and not many smart offensive chances. There were a lot of shots but not all at the right time or place. The Canes simply could not find the back of the net.
Instead of dwelling on it, we will be having some fun and making our picks while deciding who each pick would be if they were an Avenger.
