Hurricanes’ Erik Haula had played in a game against the New York Islanders exactly one week ago, where he didn’t play too much in the third period and became a healthy scratch this past Tuesday against the Winnipeg Jets. In the late second period against the Islanders, Haula had lost his man, who was the Islanders captain, Anders Lee who scored the tying goal with a wide-open net.
Haula has looked frustrated ever since returning from injury, he’s been in a drought. He has no goals in his last nine games and he has no points in his last five games.
