There’s plenty of names on the Carolina Hurricanes that showed streaky production this season. However, one of the consistent producers this season that does not get his named mentioned among the players like Jeff Skinner, Sebastian Aho, Teuvo Teravainen, Jordan Staal, etc. is Derek Ryan.
After notching one assist against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Nov. 28, Ryan sits at 12 points on the year. That assist came on a nice feed to Noah Hanifin in the first period to get the Canes on the board.
Seven of those 12 points have come from assists and five from goals.
