Some players just naturally fly under the radar. The Carolina Hurricanes have one player like that on the roster that just does not get that much attention. That player is Brock McGinn. Most of the attention goes to Jeff Skinner, Sebastian Aho, Jordan Staal, Teuvo Teravainen, Justin Williams, etc. on defense.
However, the third and fourth lines give head coach Bill Peters a spark. McGinn floats between the third and fourth lines, but mainly skates on the third. Recently, the third line is made up of Williams, McGinn, and Victor Rask.
Carolina suffers from unreliable production on offense and a lack of quality opportunities.
