Carolina Hurricanes: Bill Peters doesn’t care

Losses like the on that came on March 20, at the hands of a Western Conference opponent far out of the playoff picture like the Edmonton Oilers, are truly disappointing to watch. However, since the Carolina Hurricanes are seemingly out of the playoff picture themselves, in the Eastern Conference, the end of the regular season does not mean as much anymore.

This matchup with the Oilers, at home at PNC Arena, purely came with the meaning of building up momentum entering the off-season. The Canes have less than 10 games remaining in the 2017-18 campaign, and have a lot of wrinkles to iron out before the start of next season.
