The banged-up Carolina Hurricanes head to Dallas to take on the Stars after picking up six out of eight possible points in Florida. The Hurricanes look to finish up their penultimate road trip with success. The Canes had a day off yesterday to hopefully allow some of the six injured players from their last game to heal up.
With the Tampa Bay Lightning winning last night, the Canes have just a one-point advantage over the Florida Panthers and a two-point advantage over the Lightning. Carolina has a game in hand over the Lightning and two over the Panthers.
