With only a little over two hours left before the trade deadline, the Carolina Hurricanes have made two separate trades with the Florida Panthers that exchange two minor league players for future considerations. Tomas Jurco will be heading north to Carolina, and Cliff Pu will head south to Florida:

While it is unlikely that either player will see NHL games for the rest of this season, it is important to note that unlike Cliff Pu, Tomas Jurco has played in the bigs before, making his NHL debut in the 2013/14 season for the Detroit Red Wings.
