Getting a win over the Nashville Predators on Nov. 26 should be a big step forward for the Carolina Hurricanes to make a push in the Metropolitan Division. Yet, the main reason that the Canes were able to claim the victory was Sebastian Aho and Teuvo Teravainen coming through in the shootout.
It took Aho 16 games to get his first goal of the 2017-18 season. After scoring 24 goals and nearly 50 points in his rookie season, expectations were large for him this season. Yet, going nearly a quarter of the season without a goal was a disappointing way for Aho to start.
