The Carolina Hurricanes dropped a 3-2 decision to the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night at Scottrade Center. The loss snaps a four game winning streak for the Canes and is their first loss since the 8-1 beating from the Toronto Maple Leafs before Christmas. Carter Hutton turned aside 23 shots in the win for the Blues. Scott Darling started his first game since the Toronto loss and stopped 26 of 29 shots.
Kyle Brodziak struck just a minute into the first period to give the Blues an early lead.
