RALEIGH, NC – Don Waddell, President of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has entered into a multi-year partnership with McDonald’s. The partnership makes McDonald’s McCafé coffee the Official Coffee of the Carolina Hurricanes, and McDonald’s will be the title sponsor of the team’s television pre- and post-game shows, HURRICANES LIVE!, on FOX Sports Carolinas and FOX Sports Southeast.
Beginning the first week of February, McDonald’s locations in the Raleigh, Durham and Fayetteville areas will feature special-edition Hurricanes hot coffee cups in all sizes for their McCafé coffee. The cups will be available through the end of the Hurricanes’ 2015-16 season.
