The Carolina Hurricanes have won back-to-back games on back-to-back nights. No, you’re not dreaming. The Canes topped the Colorado Avalanche 3-1 in the second game in as many nights, a feat they haven’t pulled off since December 15th & 16th.
Just like any Hurricanes hockey experience, it was riddled with a few bad moments as well. And it started late in the first period. Justin Faulk received a pass at neutral ice and tripped over Carl Soderberg’s skate and the puck went flying into the Canes defensive zone. Soderberg sent a perfect pass to teammate Gabriel Bourque who fired a shot on Cam Ward.
