The Flames dealt for Dougie Hamilton during the 2015 NHL Draft and pretty much stole him from the Bruins. While the Flames gave up three draft picks, they received in return a young defenceman who will be part of their core for years to come.
Hamilton seemed to struggle early on with the transition from Boston to Calgary, but once he settled in you could see those glimpses of what made the Flames want to deal for the talented blue liner.
