Thunder Thursday: Thunder Split Last Two Games

The Adirondack Thunder have split two games since our last update, first losing to the Florida Everblades 5-4 in a shootout on Saturday, then winning against the Manchester Monarchs 4-2 on Tuesday night..

Saturday’s game began with a slow 1st period that only saw 11 shots between the two teams and no scoring. The flood gates opened up early in the 2nd period when Florida scored just 2:35 into the period and then got two goals in twenty seconds just over three minutes later to make it 3-0. The Thunder would finally get on the board at 10:27 of the 2nd period with Brian Ward scoring his 10th goal of the season from Patch Alber and Captain Peter MacArthur to cut the Florida lead to 3-1.
