The Calgary Flames have yet to lose the the game in the month of December. They have won nine games in row at home and now must find ways to do the same on the road.
With a comfortable lead going up 4-1 in the third period, Calgary seemed to be coasting to a sure victory. A defensive meltdown late, largely due to some penalty trouble and more spotty goaltending, push the game into overtime.
