The NHL says 26 players have tested postive for COVID-19

The National Hockey League says 26 players have tested positive for COVID-19 since June 8th. Since players have begun reporting for phase two of the league’s return to play plan, 15 of 250+ players that have reported have tested positive.

Players have gained access to team facilities to begin training and skating in small groups as part of the second phase of the league’s return to play protocol.

A total of 1,450 tests have been conducted meaning a one percent positive testing rate, but it also means a total of six percent of players have tested positive.
