The Flames dropped their second preseason game last night, 4-2 to the Vancouver Canucks. It was once again a VERY mixed group of players sporting the Flaming C, but at least this time Calgary found the back of the net.
Vancouver staked themselves to a very quick 3-0 lead after the first period, but the Flames showed some life as the second 20 minutes started. Calgary would get goals in the period from Dillon Dube and Connor Mackey, but that would be all for the good guys on this evening. Vancouver would add an insurance goal in the final frame and get their first win of the preseason by the final score of 4-2.
