-Papa Was A Rollin Stone: Michael Stone has been getting some NHL time lately and he made the most of it last night against Edmonton. Stone would rip a slap shot from just inside the blue line, beating Mike Smith and putting the Flames up 1-0. The goal was the first for Stone in 2021.
-Two Streaks Ended: The Flames had two streaks come to an end last night. One on the PK, one on the PP. The Flames had killed off 16 straight PK’s, but Ryan Nugent-Hopkins would end that streak when would score with the man advantage just over a minute into the second period.
