1 Goal Misery: The magic Calgary brought in 2014-15 in their ability to comeback and tie crucial games has all but disappeared. The Flames have been abysmal in one goal games all year, but now in the most crucial part of the season they have fallen 2-1 to Montreal twice and just couldn’t find the equalizer in this one. They’re 6-9-2 in one goal games in 2020-21.
More starts, less problems: Jacob Markstrom has now started 11 games in a row since David Rittich was dealt at the deadline, and yet the veteran netminder has reverted to his strong play from the beginning of the season.
