The Last Time
Three years removed from a five-game loss to the Montreal Canadiens in the 1985-86 Stanley Cup final, the Flames and Habs squared off again in the 1988-89 final. Both teams had new coaches in charge - Terry Crisp in place of Bob Johnson in Calgary and Pat Burns instead of Jean Perron in Montreal.
