For the second time in eight days, the Heat hosted the Charlotte Checkers. Again, the Heat won by a margin of two goals, this time 3-1. It was a strange game in that the Heat only had 15 shots to Charlotte’s 28, but they made them count. Linden Vey had a goal and two assists, while Matt Frattin and Andrew Mangiapane both had a goal and an assist in the victory.
