The #1 affiliate of the Flames, the Stockton Heat, had an interesting slate of games this past week going 2-1 with some unlikely players racking up the points.

For the second game in a row against Tuscon, the Heat couldn’t hold a lead as Tuscon scored the winner with 4:17 to play. Hunter Shinkaruk had a goal and an assist while Linden Vey and Emile Poirier also scored for the Heat. It was David Rittich’s Stockton and North American debut and he made 31 saves on 35 shots in the losing effort.
