The Heat weren’t all that busy on the ice last week, but they were busy adjusting their rosters after 3 forwards were called up to the Flames in a 7 day period. Jon Gillies was also out of action last week with a minor thumb injury. He’s expected to return this week.

The Heat opened up their weekend with a loss on home ice to the Rampage. It was a close game for the most part with San Antonio scoring two goals in the final two minutes to widen their margin of victory.
