Stockton Heat announce 2021 training camp roster and schedule

The Stockton Heat announced their 2021 training camp roster and schedule Monday morning.

The Calgary Flames’ American Hockey League affiliate will play the 2021–22 season out of Stockton, CA; they previously spent the 2020–21 season at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary due to logistical concerns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Stockton’s 2021 training camp begins with an on-ice day on Oct. 4 and continues through to Oct. 14.

31 players, including seven skaters invited on a try-out basis, will attend training camp for the Heat. Here’s the positional breakdown of the participants:

Despite being signed to a two-way standard player contract by the Calgary Flames, 24-year-old goaltender Tyler Parsons was not included on Stockton’s training camp roster.
