Not quite good enough
Flames head coach Bill Peters was pretty positive about his team’s performance, including having some praise for goaltender Mike Smith’s effort. But he pointed to the thin margins at this time of year between winning and losing, as well as some specifics that probably cost them points.
“They got two goals after we iced it,” said Peters. “Icing, no change, fresh guys, tired guys.
