Quips and Quotes: Flames lose to Capitals 4-2

The Calgary Flames finished off their five game road trip on Sunday night with a 4-2 loss to the Washington Capitals. Here are selected notes and reactions following the game.

A good effort that just fell short

Speaking to the media following the game, Flames head coach Bill Peters pointed to the fourth Capitals goal as something his group just couldn’t overcome.
