Egads, an early lead!
The Flames have chased a lot in games this season. Heck, they’ve only scored first six times prior to Saturday night. So you can understand why head coach Bill Peters was pleased with his team’s effort early in this game.
I liked our start. I thought we could’ve had more than the one. It was good to see Monny get rewarded, I thought he’s been playing with more pace here recently.
