In the biggest non-surprise ever the Flames have sent Michael Frolik down to the 4th line for tonight’s contest against the Kings. Frolik is in a weird spot as the Flames should have and maybe even were trying to deal him over the summer and now it’s like he’s playing out the string with no end in sight.
Sam Bennett will get the call to take his spot alongside Mikael Backlund and Matthew Tkachuk. If Bennett remotely produces the famed 3M Line should be permanently put down and the Flames should move on.
