Calgary Flames head coach Geoff Ward joined Dean “Boomer” Molberg and company on the Sportsnet 960 The Fan morning show on Tuesday morning. One of the big topics that Ward was asked about was the injury status of Mark Giordano and Travis Hamonic.
Asked for an update, here’s what Ward had to say:
The most truthful thing I can tell you is week to week right now. I know Gio the last time he had this injury came back quickly in six weeks. It’s two now. He’s healing extremely well. Travis is a little bit slower due to the injury he’s got.
