Ladd to Kane: Move on, buddy

Winnipeg Jets players aren't surprised they're still dealing with former teammate Evander Kane.

And his former captain says Kane should just move on.

Kane's comments in a Hockey News story published this week were today's topic of conversation as the Jets made final preparations for tonight's game against the L.A. Kings.

Andrew Ladd, Blake Wheeler and Chris Thorburn all said they weren't surprised to hear Kane say the Jets didn't have his back during his time here.

“No,” Ladd said. “He's an emotional kid. I guess it doesn't (surprise me).”

Ladd said the Jets have worked hard to create a family atmosphere that supports teammates and addresses issues head-on.
