Bad news, everybody. Calgary Flames top prospect Jakob Pelletier was invited to Canada’s World Junior selection camp. But he’ll be missing the camp (and the tournament) due to an injury.

Pelletier suffered a lower body injury in Moncton’s 6-2 win on Thursday over Victoriaville. Pelletier had an assist in that game.
The injury apparently isn’t considered terribly serious, but it’ll be enough to keep him away from the camp.
