Jade Iginla’s rapid ascent in the hockey world continued on Thursday.
Hockey Canada has announced that Iginla was named to Team Canada’s roster for the cancelled 2022 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championship in Sweden.

They weren’t able to go for gold at #U18WomensWorlds in Sweden, but 23 players were selected to wear the on the world stage.

Iginla, 17, started playing at the Rink Hockey Academy in Kelowna this year after previously excelling at Shattuck St.
