The Calgary Inferno split a pair of games in Montreal over the weekend to not only secure a spot in the playoffs, but to host a playoff series at home.
On Saturday, Katelyn Gosling opened the scoring 10:53 into the 1st period with assists from Brianne Jenner and Iya Gavrilova. Montreal closed the opening period with three unanswered goals to make the score 3-1. Jessica Campbell scored at the 11:33 mark of the 2nd to cut the lead to 3-2.
