Goals were flowing like a broken dam today and none were better than Juuso Valimaki's first of the season to open the scoring today. Johnny Gaudreau collected a puck and with some nifty skating broke Brady Tkachuk's ankles, cruised into the offensive zone, drew four Ottawa defenders and with a pretty feed, got the puck to Valimaki to give Calgary a 1-0 lead.
