Jakob Pelletier will look to overtake Mark Jankowski for sole possession of the Stockton Heat rookie scoring record when the Heat visit the Ontario Reign on Sunday afternoon.
The Heat (42–12–5) and Ontario Reign (36–15–9) most recently met in Stockton on Friday, with Justin Kirkland scoring the shootout winner in a 3–2 Heat victory. Stockton enters Sunday’s game — the final meeting between these two teams in the 2021–22 regular season — with a 5–2–0 record against Ontario this year.
Pelletier, who turned 21 in March, has 56 points (26 goals, 30 assists) in 58 games with the Heat this season.
