Less than 24 hours after securing a series-opening victory over the Bakersfield Condors, the Stockton Heat will return to action on Wednesday evening to try and go up 2–0 in the Pacific Division semifinals.
Jakob Pelletier, Emilio Pettersen, and Walker Duehr scored for the Heat in their 3–1 victory over the Condors in Game 1. Stockton outshot Bakersfield 29 to 28 at Stockton Arena on Tuesday.
American Hockey League Goaltender of the Year Dustin Wolf continued his excellent debut season, making 27 saves in his first professional playoff game. He’ll be back between the pipes on Wednesday, with Daniil Chechelev backing up.
