Most of these guys don’t remember 1994.

In fact, a couple of them weren’t even born yet.

The current cast of Calgary Flames can’t afford to forget what happened in ’94, either.

Fresh off back-to-back victories in front of a raucous C of Red, the Flames jetted Wednesday to Vancouver with a 3-1 lead in their NHL Western Conference best-of-seven slugfest with the Canucks and a chance to eliminate their Pacific Division rivals in Thursday’s Game 5 at Rogers Arena (8 p.m., CBC/Sportsnet 960 The Fan).

“You have to have that killer instinct. That’s what playoffs are all about,” stressed Flames fourth-liner Brandon Bollig, who owns a Stanley Cup ring thanks to a memorable run with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2013.
