FlamesNation prospect update: the post-draft edition

Hockey is up and running in many places of the world. And now that the Calgary Flames have completed their selections in the 2020 NHL Draft, they have more players to keep track of. (And so do we!)

Here’s a snapshot of how Flames prospects, new and old, are doing right now.

Quebec

The good news is that all three Flames prospects in the QMJHL are playing well early on in this season.

  • Jakob Pelletier (Val-d’Or) has a goal and five assists in three games, averaging two points per game. He’s the team’s captain and offensive leader – he’s expected to stand out like this, but it’s encouraging that he’s living up to the expectations.
